Many people enjoy reading PDF documents. There are work related reasons for doing this as well as personal ones like reading a book that is in this format. When you have an iPhone, you will notice that this is not something that comes with the phone by default. It does not have a filesystem that you can access and dos not come with a PDF reader making it difficult to do this. There are a few ways that you can do this on your phone.

There is a site called Readdle that you can use that will help with this. You can take a PDF document or other type of document and upload it to the site. You can then use your Safari browser to go to the URL that the site gives you for that document and read it on your phone via the browser. This is easiest for less advanced users.

You can buy an application called FileMagnet. This is used to get the PDFs onto the phone via Wifi. It can also be used for any other type of file that you need to get onto your iPhone.

An alternative method is to email the PDF to yourself to whatever email account is associated with your iPhone's default email program.

Buy a PDF reading application for your device. This is useful since you can use this to read the files that you put onto the phone. This way you can more or less read your documents the way you want to be on your phone. There are many of these in the Apps store for around one dollar.

If it's just text in the PDF document, you can just copy and paste and email it to yourself and read it there. You can also upload the text to a site like Google Doc and access it from your phone's browser reading it there.
